The ELASTEC MiniVac is a small, portable vacuum system designed for oil spill recovery. It is ideal for working in remote areas such as beaches, pipelines as well as industrial locations. MiniVac can recover a wide range of liquids, oils and sludges with solids up to 2 inch / 50 mm diameter. The diesel driven vacuum pump quickly generates suction - oils and liquids are recovered into standard oil drums (not included) or our hopper device.

The MiniVac is powered by a quiet running 20 hp/15 kW water cooled diesel engine fitted with electric start and spark arrestor. A 20 hp/14.91 kw electric motor is also available. The powerful blower generates high air flow to convey liquids through long lengths of hoses.

Material recovered by MiniVac is deposited into common open head drums (55 gal/205 liter) by means of an in-line DrumIt system. The DrumIt is a drum filling vacuum head with an automatic shut off and adjustable vacuum relief valve. A sight glass shows the operator when a shut-off ball lifts to indicate the drum is full, DrumIt fills each drum to a consistent level every time.
