The Unalaska Activ is a versatile and spacious double kayak. It is a favored choice for longer open sea crossings as well as ordinary family use. It is very easy to pack and its load capacity is remarkable. The Unalaska is stable and quiet easy to maneuver in rough sea. The sense of steady stability is a key factor for the secure feeling you get while paddling the Unalaska. The distance between the paddlers is long enough so that they can practice different paddling styles and pace. The Kajak-Sport Activ rudder extends the control and maneuverability of the kayak in rough conditions. The Unalaska is the choice of the Finnish Navy since 2005 thanks to its quality and functional performance.

Available in three lay-up options

Traditional lay up (TR) uses polyester/diolen and fiber glass.

Extra Rigid (XR) is made of vinylester/carbon/Kevlar/glass fiber and diolen.

Carbon light (CL) – hull of carbon fiber sandwich with diolen resin with a deck constructed in fiberglass and vinylester.

Traditional lay-up is like the classic Skim yet with more reinforcement and therefore more rigid. Extra rigid is as expected even more rigid and nearly bomb proof. ?Carbon light has the same rigidness as the XR, but is by far the most lightweight lay up of the three.
