The SAILART 18 Sport is based on the successful hull lines of the SAILART 18. The deck was modified to accommodate a much larger cockpit. Now up to 6 people fit into the cockpit.

The cabin is equipped for racing boats without cushions – very functional. The lightweight is sporty but very safe due to its final stability. The sailing school variant has a standard 180 kg fixed keel. Even in light winds the boat can be used for training due to its hull lines. For stronger winds 2 reefs can be installed.

The sports variant is equipped with a back stay, jib halyard tackle and lightweight halyards and fittings. A gennaker up to 25 sqm or a spinnaker with 18.5 sqm can be used.

The keel weighs 120 kg for the Sport or 180 kg for the regular variant.

A fixed keel is available as well with 140 cm draft and a weight of 320 kg, just like a fixed keel with 90 cm draft weighing 240 kg.
